Eligibility
- US Citizen or US National
- Honorable Service (Honorable Discharge, General Discharge Under Honorable Conditions) or Currently Serving
- Served in a war, campaign, or expedition on foreign soil or in hostile waters
- US Citizen or US National
- 16 Years of Age or Older
- Husband/Wife, Widow/Widower, Father/Mother, Grandfather/Grandmother, Son/Daughter, Grandson/Granddaughter, or Brother/Sister of a person who were are eligible for a VFW Membership
Required Documentation
- DD-214
- Authorized Campaign Medal Orders
- Military Pay Statement showing receipt of Hostile Fire Pay or Imminent Danger Pay
- Orders to Korea for 30 consecutive days or 60 non-consecutive days
- Membership Application
- Only a Membership Application if related Veteran is member of the post
- Proof of Eligibility if Veteran is not a member of the post
- Proof of Eligibility includes the required documentation for a Veteran to join VFW
