Operation Uplink
The VFW Operation Uplink is a program to keep military families in touch. The program gives Active Duty Service Members and hospitalized Veterans free phone time through calling cards. This program has helped more than 7.6 million free phone calls between Active Duty Service Members, hospitalized Veterans, and their families. Military Assistance Program
The Military Assistance Program (MAP) connects local VFWs and the Military community around them. MAP sponsors events for Service Members and their families. These events include Welcome Home, Deployments, Yellow Ribbon, Family Day, Dinner/Picnics, Holiday Parties, Meetings/Briefings, and Memorial Services.
